The MT-32 version is how the tracks were originally composed, while FM is a revised version for lower-grade soundcards with less channels and instrument selection. But due to a programming error in the game's .M music format, the notation of every single song of every music version in the final game has been lowered by 2 semitones. The FM version (having been made from the original MT-32 versions, and being unable to be altered) has retained this 2 semitone lowering for the soundtrack, while all of the MT-32 versions play at their original tone as composed even though they would be lowered by two semitones in the final game. FM version recorded and donated exclusively for XeenMusic by "cyclone3d" using an authentic "Sound Blaster Pro - CT1330A" equipped with a real dual OPL2.
