DonPachi (Hong Kong Ver) 2-All 香港版 首領蜂 2周ALL

This video shows a 2-loop clear of the obscure Hong Kong version of DonPachi. The run was played on an original arcade PCB and streamed live on Twitch. The Hong Kong version is considered much more difficult than the original Japan version mostly due to the higher rank and also a much larger hitbox. I use Type A for this playthrough due to the fast movement but Type B is also a good choice. It's debatable whether the game is even possible with Type C. The first objective during my route is to extend the bomb stock to 7 as quickly as possible. This is achieved by using bombs early on and fill up the stock with the end of stage bomb refill. I perform an intentional suicide at the 1-4 boss to set myself up for 1-5 with full bombs. This suicide also cancels the no miss rank flag and is neccessary sooner or later. In order for some safespots to work (e.g. at 35:54 or 36:11), I deliberately miss all of the bee medals as these also increase rank by a bit. I suicide again before the 2-5 boss in order to have enough bombs for the boss and the succeeding True Last Boss. A recovery on either of them is very difficult and often leads to another death or a couple of lost bombs.
