Making a viking chair fail s2e21

I tried to make a viking chair but failed. making a rustic viking chair is pretty easy and great to sit on. you need two boards of about 1" to 1 1/2" thick and the length of each board is up to you but around 30" or so is a good length to start with. the with of the board depends on how wide you want the seat. my seat was only 9" wide and that is a little on the small side. I took off 2" on each side of the back end of the seat leaving 5" in the middle (tenon) on the back of the chair I made a 5" hole (mortise) after you have the two boards cut slip the tenon into the mortise and you are done. you can finish this chair any way you like.
