A day in the gapahuken - Bushcraft shelter.
Chopped some wood, made some waffles and drank some coffee.

Gapahuk:
A gapahuk is a structure made of wooden materials, originally intended for needy accommodation. It has only three walls and a roof, possibly two side walls and a sloping roof all the way down to the back. It can be constructed of a skeleton with rajer in which twigs are woven, then the skeleton is covered with bar or peat. The front wall is open, and there is often a campfire in front of it. A "stick source" or "new" of whole logs, one over two, was used as a fireplace by floaters and forest workers.
Gapahuker are made from the forest's raw materials, and can have a temporary or permanent function. You can use sticks and trees you find or cut in the forest, tie them together with roots and put a spruce bar on the roof. It is also possible to use timber to build more permanent structures.
