Latest Navy News: In a significant show of naval strength, the United States Navy's largest forward deployed fleet—the 7th fleet—today conducted a South China Sea transit; the impressive formation comprised the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group, the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Port Royal (CG 73).
