GOR Stands for Group Obstacle Race,it is also known as snake race. It is the task where whole group has to collectively cross the obstacles. There are 6 obstacles in the GOR Which has to be crossed by holding a snake (Load). By all the teammates,By following certain rules you have to perform the tasks. The Rules are as follows ● The group members have to hold the snake alternatively on their waist level. ● One cannot move to the next obstacle until every member of the group has crossed the previous obstacle. ● when the group is crossing the obstacle minimum 3 members have to hold the snake while crossing. ● when you move from one obstacle to other obstacle, The Snake has to be held by every member of the group. IN GOR, The officer checks check's ■ Your INITIATIVE- As when u see the height of ropes, walls how u react. ■ Your Physical strength- Whether you are able to help the group or you are just a liability. ■Coordination with the group members, as whether you are able to influence your group or not. ■ How responsible you are, whether you are breaking rules or not, If you have broken a rule whether you are accepting it or not, are you repeating that task or not. ■ Whether you are selfish or you are good member of a group that he checks via are u running alone or you are taking the group with yourself or not. “ It doesn't matter that your team won or came last in the race, always focus on your role, how you helped the group to reach that position”.
