In today’s video, I’m telling you about five of the NBA’s top 2020 free agent point guards and where they should sign next season. Harris #NBAFreeAgency #NewYorkKnicks #TorontoRaptors I’m going to start off with Fred VanVleet of the Toronto Raptors. VanVleet could have other suitors—the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks could throw tons of money at him. Next you have Goran Dragic of the Miami Heat. He should have his share of offers in free agency. He'd be a fun guy to see for the Dallas Mavericks alongside Luka Doncic. He would immediately be the Philadelphia 76ers best bench player. Staying with the Heat is also an option. Next is Jordan Clarkson of the Utah Jazz. Given that the Jazz are in win-now mode and don't typically lure in free agents, they'll probably do everything they can to keep Clarkson. I could see him getting some interest from the New York Knicks and Portland Trailblazers too. Next is Kris Dunn of the Chicago Bulls. I think Chicago will extend his qualifying offer. I also like him on the Atlanta Hawks especially with Trae Young’s defensive limitation. Maybe the Denver Nuggets could make some sense too. Finally …. De’Anthony Melton of the Memphis Grizzlies. The most common comparison for Melton is Avery Bradley — a smaller 2-guard that thrives as a defensive stopper, secondary playmaker, and catch-and-shoot 3-point shooter. I could see it making sense him re-signing with Memphis or I think he’d be a good fit for the Orlando Magic or San Antonio Spurs.
